IELTS UKVi Reading Test Format:

Reading: 40 Questions - 60 Minutes
The Reading module tests your comprehension skills by presenting a variety of academic and general passages. You will be challenged to identify the main idea, supporting details, and specific information within the passages through a range of question formats. Academic Reading will have only 3 passages. Two passages will have 13 questions each, while one passage will have 14 questions. In UKVi Reading, the candidates are given 3 sections, each having 13 or 14 questions. However, two sections may have more than one passage each.

IELTS for UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI)

IELTS for UKVI is an officially approved English Language Test recognised by the UK government. It allows applicants to demonstrate their proficiency in English while applying for a UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI). If you are planning to study, work or migrate to the UK, you need to appear for IELTS for UKVI. Universities, colleges, and professional bodies will only accept IELTS for UKVI scores. Regular IELTS will not be considered.
