FAQs for TOEFL Reading:
No specific eligibility criteria have been defined by ETS. However, the earliest the students sit for the TOEFL is while they are in the 12th grade and want to pursue their higher education abroad, mainly The USA, Canada, etc.
An average TOEFL score is around 90. It may vary from 85 to 95. Anything above 100 is considered a good TOEFL score.
The TOEFL iBT test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.
If you understand the majority of the language, but have trouble with the format of the test, it may be 6 - 8 weeks of preparation. If the general language level is very difficult for you, getting to a high TOEFL score (>90) could take 2 - 3 month. In that case, you may have to do The TOEFL Foundation Course of Global Course.
TOEFL scores are valid for only two years. The validation date of the exam starts after 5-7 days when the results are declared. A candidate can only use their TOEFL scores for two years before the validity date.
ETS does not limit the number of TOEFL attempts made by a candidate. However, majority of the candidates take TOEFL only once.
Reading - 35 minutes - 20 questions
The TOEFL Reading Section is moderately difficult. However, if you are not a regular reader of newspapers, magazines, novels, etc., you may find it difficult to crack. We also discuss the types of questions asked in The TOEFL Reading Section and the strategy to answer such questions accurately within the stipulated time, thus, ensuring the optimum score.
TOEFL's reading section comparatively easier than the GMAT, but non-English speakers find all four sections extremely tricky.
Give yourself one point for every multiple choice question you answered correctly (and potentially 2-3 points for every Reading to Learn question). The sum of these points is your raw score.

TOEFL Reading is assessed on a scale of 0 to 30. To determine your Reading score based on the above performance, calculate 91% of 30. You may accomplish this by multiplying 0.91 by 30. 0.91*30 = 27.3.
The TOEFL Reading: Includes 20 questions. Contains 1400 words (2 passages x 700 words).
